Stan Adams
 
 
Stan worked in the City for over 20yrs in private banking and stockbroking.  He retired in 2007 having been on the board of Barclays Stockbrokers and Barclays Bank and Trust Co. Ltd. Stan became a Christian in 1999 and left the Square Mile in order to commit himself to gospel ministry.  Aside from being one of the principal organizers of First Wednesday, Stan is also on the preaching staff of Calderwood Baptist Church in East Kilbride, Scotland and fulfils a schedule of Sunday preaching engagements around the country.
Stan was born in Arkansas, USA and moved to London in 1979 to study piano with Louis Kentner.  He is married to Ann Marie.  He enjoys playing the piano and golf.
